The Rice Lake Nordic Association (RLNA) was officially started in the Fall of 2009. This concept had started a number of years earlier when some grooming had been done at the UWBC grounds. After official organization as a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Corporation we began to receive donations and purchased a snowmobile for grooming. We have since added other grooming implements. We maintain approx 3km of trails at the UWBC Campus Grounds. Groomed for both Classical & Skate techniques. We also hold waxing clinics, training clinics & many other events. (See Calendar) All of our events are open to the General Public and we hope that all interested participants will attend. Our goal is to help the advancement of Nordic Sports in the local area as well as promote health & wellness for our members and the local community. Membership Donations: All memberships are valid from July 1st to June 30th of each calendar year. Your membership donation to the RLNA helps to cover the cost of grooming equipment, storage, fuel and other club activities. All of the Board positions as well as groomers are unpaid, please Thank those people for their donation of time to help the RLNA.
